Just want to know how rare is the color combo of Mayan bronze metallic with umber leather interior AWD. Might pull the trigger on this one even though every time I look at my WDP I have second thoughts. My salesman told me it's a rare combo.

dont know but it can obviously be ordered. i dont think color combo should affect price (unless the deal is only valid cause its the last week of december). if it does go to another dealer

^ Agreed. My first Acura was white. However this car shows better in reflective dark colors.

I have Mayan Bronze with umber and I absolutely love it! Really beautiful combo. It looks sporty. The WDP is very beautiful too - it is very classy. Less sporty than MBM but classier. This is a real compliment knowing that I am not a white car fan! I love how the WDP has those pearly reflections that really sparkle. It also blends in better with the beak and the rear trim. If you decide to go with WDP, get it with umber too. You won't regret it!

Your salesman probably has the opportunity to get some sort of bonus for moving the oldest car off the lot. There is nothing wrong with Mayan Bronze other than it's not that popular. It's rare because dealers are afraid to order it because they never know how long it may take for a customer to come ni who likes it enough to buy it. It's much easier to sell white black silver and gray cars as they appeal to more people.

Acura did not make Mayan Bronze rare, the dealers did based on what they ordered. Mayan Bronze will go into the same Acura color category as, Sundance gold Metallic CL-S, Burnished Bronze 04 MDX's (so undesirable that Acura discontinued the color 5 months into the year), and Amazon Green MDX's. None of them are bad colors IMO, but they don't move quickly and they don't bring as much money in trade as a more neutral color.

I have an 09 WDP FWD with parchment interior and hate the parchment interio. The pearle does shine in the light and it is easy to keep clean.

There is a saying you snooze you loose, there are no more WDP AWD tech available in umber interior. Just waited a little to long and missed out on that color combo.

In the same boat as you, coming from 2 WDPs and Mayan bronze is my 1st choice. Unfortunately, the 6MT is next to impossible to find. Im even looking other states for it and ill probably pay to have it trucked to me.

2012 color charts are posted on TOV. Unfortunately, no MBM/Umber combo any longer in 6MT. If you want the latter, you'd better like the black interior -- that's it for 2012.

Wow... did I piss you guys off that much? Sheesh.. I happen to read info about the car I am interested in and I also said "I believe" which is not meant to mean "for a fact".... WDP is gone for the '12 too... I know this because I read about it too

being as it's a daliy driver, and my previous experience with my lowered CL during the winter months ... I doubt "slamming it" is in it's future. Am considering the RJ body kit, but found out yesterday my local dealers' collision place doesn't paint aftermarket items. Need to check with some other dealers to see if anyone would/can paint to match.

^^ I pre order my kit from Ron Jon and you can get yours painted by him. I ordered mine not painted just in case I pull the trigger on something else then I can paint the kit to match the car I have in what ever color I decide to get.
