How much for a 2012 TL base?
Could anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for a 2012 TL base? I'm thinking that at this point in the year, I should be able to get a pretty good deal. Also, I would love to hear any feedback on the car that you may have. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

feed back on car, you can find it all over 4g section..
price, well, let the experts chime on this.. im not sure about price. but seems like its a good time to buy since they are trying to get rid of inventory..

I paid 36500 drive out for mine. 12 Base TL with tint, all season mats, splash guards. TX tax is 6.25%.
I'm sure you can do better than that. I bought mine in September 6, had to make the decision cause my car was totaled in an accident and I want the .9% rate for 60 months.

eh.. you can probably get it for around $36K.. but honestly do you really want the base TL? i understand if you dont want the sh-awd if your not in bad weather area or care about performance, but the tech package is a great deal for what it brings (navi, perforated double stitched leather, much better sound system, push button start, rear view camera, spoiler etc, etc). and on top of that selling a base TL is tough so resell value down the line is going to be low compared to the tech so the price you'll pay for the tech package is not as much as you think (as you'll get back at least 50% of the price back during re-sell and be able to sell it much quicker). either way just my two cents, good luck

As omaralt said, the base could very well be a regrettable buy. In '08, I picked the '08 base TL to save $$ and regretted it right away after seeing the TL w/tech. That is why I took no chances and got the SH-AWD advanced this time.. nothing missing to regret!

it's really not as much as you think; ya its almost $4K for the tech package, but during resell you'll get a good chunk of that back and it'll be much quicker to sell (many people would never even consider a base TL). either way it's your money. just realize that your spending a lot of money either way, just make sure you get what you want so you dont regret your decision later

I've owned a base 19 months and don't regret it. Never been a fan of the on board outdated navi and don't like the trunk spoiler. The base's sound system isn't nearly as good as the tech's ELS, but it's better than 80% of the other cars. Who really even uses the DVD-A on a regular basis? I would've also liked the upgraded Milano leather, but expecting a baby in the near future and installing babyseats will stretch the perforated leather and cause cracking. The one thing I really regret about not getting the tech is the reverse cam because I can't see squat out the rear window. I would've liked the ventilated seats the Advance offers in the 2012, but not sure if $6k is worth the one extra feature I would really want.
