Quick question Ron!

So since dealing with money problems and other stuff I finally am able to start saving for this grille. I should be able to make a purchase within a month, would I still be able to get it as I see that it looks like you might want to wait for a good number of orders before making another batch to cut down production costs.

I am sure Ron has made more than enough to fulfill orders being placed now...

shipping from Cali, but some grilles will be making it over to Yonkers, NY before they go out, since they have to go by USPS instead of UPS.

Hey, guess what, we painted about 10 grilles and the Paladium silver came out green. looks like the machine that gives us the formula to mix the color codes was all screwed up. So we have a shitload of green "A" bars and frames.

To add to that, the dealer that I ordered the bumper pieces from to use as a reference shipped the pieces out regular mail, so there was no tracking # and we never received them. So I'm going to have a dealer over here ship me a catalog with the color squares in the back to use as reference to make sure the colors are correct rather than assume the paint we used was accurate.

I apologize for the delay, but it should be another 2-3 days until we output more grilles, prep, prime and paint them the correct mixture of colors, and thats aaaaafter we get the tech guy to check out the machine and see why the colors were WAY off. I was going to have my shipping dept ship out the black ones, but I still want to wait until we get the color swatches to at least compare and make sure those were accurate with the match. This problem may be only limited to Paladium silver and Grigio, we'll know for sure once we get the book with the swatches and once the machine is re-calibrated.

Imagine how I felt when I saw those green grilles.

Shame because look how many grilles were already painted and ready to ship:

OMG, you did it, damn. You had one of the highest mileage and cleanest paint CL's I've known. Awesome color and spec TL! We got 2 Mayan Bronze TL grilles being painted tomorrow, so I'll try to get pics of those with the silver "A" bar and Matte Black Mesh.

Man, that's awesome.

I'm sure some of the movie producers for the upcoming Spiderman movies would be interested.

Wow, that is... very green. Green is my favorite color, and I do like that green but I don't think I want to repaint my entire car.

I think the swatches in the book are a bit dark. Anyone else take a book with them from the dealer? I honestly thought my car was Palladium when I looked at the book, until the salesman corrected me.

Yeah, there were about 12 cars on my wish list ... starting at the VW CC sport all the way up to the Merc C300 with 4Matic, with another VW CC, a Subi, Saab, Audi A5 and a few others in between. However, after discovering the '10 TL SH-AWD came with a stick, my interest became rather focused.

Am looking forwad to seeing the grills in my color, and other goodies that might find they way onto my new ride. Pictures will follow after I get the rain drops off and some Zaino on

Ah, looks like we were both in the same boat. The 6MT TL simply owned them all.

Any palladium silver Ron Jon grills?

Spoke to my project manager.

1.) all the frames were repainted today, and the machine was corrected, so the colors are accurate now.

2.) the bars are being prepped and primed now, we had to output all of them all over again rather than repaint the green ones.

3.) The emblems arrived today and I overnighted them to my factory to be included with the grilles.

4.) the grilles will ship out on Monday for sure, we wanted to make sure the paint was completely ready package without being damaged or stuck to the paper.

5.) All Prepped and primed non-painted grilles have been shipped out.

6.) docboy, I have one Paladium silver grille coming to me to stock, I was planning on throwing it on my TL if I decided to jump on it and get one.
