I'm not going to do it, but if it was a perfect world, I would have the team redo the seat and eliminate the frame around the already HUGE "A" logo. Adding the from really doesn't help with the proportions any. The other option would be to dump more money into the project and to add more delay to have the seat redone without the frame around the "A" which would require a new seat that offers enough support to keep the "A" in place under high speeds.
But I think it's good as is, and it will be another week or so to paint and ship out.

Then I realized that painted silver, it should look great. Any chance of a shop sometime if anyone with the ability has a chance?

Don't redo the whole thing...If really redo the seat then don't redo mine...I take the "A" seat...I don't want anymore delay...

My beer fridge is in
i'm guessing its just an optical illusion, or my monitor is playing tricks on me this late, but the "a" doesn't look centered.....
Also, what's with the construction paper look of the background behind the "a", i'm guessing that will be painted black too?

Just got an update from Ron....the "A" bars are almost finished and the frames are undergoing painting. Hopefully these grills should finally be finished and ready to ship towards the end of next week.
.....Feels like an eternity but It's almost there!!!

waited a week, then another week...and again another week...now look back is already a month....
They should have painted all the parts already...and should ship out the grille that the people don't need to wait for the "A" bar, instead of is like right now everyone have to wait for the "A" bar to be finish THEN have to wait again to paint the grille....
maybe they don't have enough people...or too busy...what we only can do is wait for Rondy's call.

And for those who ordered prepped and primed frames with straight bars, those are already shipping out. Those who ordered painted grilles, those are being painted as we speak.
Listen, I know you guys have been waiting, but this is the first time the grille has come out, so we have to work out these small details now before finalizing the molds, because it would suck for the first guys to get the version 1 grille with minor cosmetic issues, then the next bunch getting the version 1.5 grille with the tweeks and corrections. Correct?
Pics of the FINAL FINAL "A" bar this Thursday or Friday.

Why be impatient about an extra few weeks or a couple months for a cosmetic part for a car you're most likely going to have for years?

Actually, I'm happy to hear the frame around the Acura logo is going away... I thought it added too much size to the A logo as well... can't wait to see the finished pics!

YES !!!!!!!!!!
Ron- I never sent you my final combo that i wanted, because honestly, i HATED that frame around the "A".. it looked terrible In my opinion, I was about to order the straight bar.... but since you removed the frame... I am LOVING it...
I assume it looks closer to the photoshop done on Ryans car??
FYI- I just sent my final decisions!!
Thanks Ron!!! CANT WAIT!!!

Add me to the chorus of people that appreciate the removal of the frame around the "A". I know it would have been easier to just release it with the frame, but this definitely shows that your heart is in the project. Can't wait to see those final pictures

One has been output already, but this photo was taken of the mold beforehand. Tomorrow evening the final bar with frame trimmed and ready will be shot and posted.
Imagine this as the mold, and the "A" logo sitting on top instead of in the recess. in the recess will be the plain black piece of abs plastic supplied to offer some contrast between the painted bar/seat and the chrome logo.
Also, I received the final schedule that the painted grilles will be shipping out on Wednsday.

I know, that little change makes the whole grille look more streamlined or something. And imagine how it will look when painted and the new RJ emblem is dropped in. That coupled with the amazing OEm fitment will make this such a clean mod. Shipping out the first orders starting Wed.!
shaang, yes, thats the OEM grille's emblem swapped onto ours.

I spend 2 much time here
that's going to look so dope, i like version 1.5 way better, kudos to Rondog for taking his time to get the design right and not just trying to rush a product to market to make quick cash.
i really wasn't feeling version 1.0 either. version 1.5 is obviously going to look even better once you have a grill that is all painted one color instead of the partially painted one you have as a current example.
