HID Question

I've bought several different hid kits in the past, lately my local suppliers have been a pain to deal with so was wondering what you guys recommend. I'm looking for slim ballast 35w kits, so thanks for the help & I did use the search button before anyone suggests that... there's nothing on the first 2 pages so yeah. Thanks

For foglight? For me I stick to OEM. I brought a set of used OEM Audi Osram Ballast and a set of Philips 3000K D2S from Ebay. I've been using it from my 06 TL to my 08 RL and now transferred to my 12 TL. So you do the math on how many years I've been using on the SAME set. I have 0 failure rate as they are OEM parts. Except for the Philip 3000K bulbs. Have fun!

for all my HID needs, I head to theretrofitsource.com

its pricey, but they have quality merchandise.
Ive been running an HID kit from them for a couple years now. no problems
and their website is easy to navigate and very easy to figure out what you need.

the kit comes with a relay harness.

they make it so easy, all you have to do is click buy.
the bulbs and wiring kit were awesome. I had no problem wiring it up..

You can try www.hidplanet.com as well as they do review on certain types of kit or OEM set up.

Damn KB1, I might have to try that thanks so much guys. I'm trying to switch up my fogs they're currently 3k. And I want to switch my accord's hids as well so don't really want to buy super expensive kits cause it'll add up.. But thank you all for the suggestions.

I get all my stuff from DDM Tuning. You cannot find another kit cheaper than their 35W Kit for $30. Replacement D2S bulbs are $15 bucks (pair). For the price, everyone uses them even all the local distributors buy from DDM.

I bought a set from Autolamps Online in 2001.

http://www.autolamps-online.com/cate...nversion-Kits/

Great customer service and they only sell Philips genuine parts. If you ever have questions you can speak with an actual Philips engineer. They are much more costly than other places, but they are also the real deal, not the cheap Chinese knockoffs.

I had them in one car for 7 years, and then transferred them to another for 4 years, after selling that car we gave them to a friend as my car had factory HID's and they didn't fit my wife's car. They are still going strong. I had to replace a relay once when it got wet repeatedly, but that was it. Also, they gave me the relay for free even though it was 7 years after I bought them. I was very impressed with the quality and customer service.
