HID low beam replacement..
Well, I finally got some Kaixen 6000K low beam HID bulbs to match my HID 6000K fogs. For those of you that replaced your low beam bulbs, how did you go about the install? Is removal of the bumper necessary? When I lift up the hood, I can see part of the car frame blocking the low beam plugs....how do you remove this part of the frame?

Well I had to take my bumper off twice to replace my grill and replace the fogs, so I want to avoid doing it again if at all possible. It's ridiculous that I can see the plugs for the low beams but the stupid frame is in the way. For a big car, I can't believe how cramped the engine compartment is.....I think Acura did a crappy job organizing everything in the engine bay....making access to a lot of things very difficult.

Its suggested in the manual for you to take the vehicle to the dealer for low beam bulb replacement. They probably made it hard to reach for liability reasons lol.
"The low beam headlight bulbs are a type of high voltage discharge tube... high voltage can remain in the circuit... if a low beam headlight bulb fails, take the vehicle to your dealer to have it replaced." From the manual.
Little do they know that well get to that bulb one way or another lol.
