I love my 6MT SHAWD. It's fast and nimble for being a 2 Ton car. While it's a much bigger car than my 3G TL-S was, it drives like a smaller car than it is.
I've had no problems with mine, upgraded to 20's on RonJon's and the RJ Grille and H&R springs.
Welcome! The 6MT is a great car, but not very easy to find anymore. I heard from one of the other members who works at a dealer that they didn't get any 2011's. I'll be curious if they keep the 6MT in the 2012, seems like a waste for such a great transmission.

Common issues seem to be:
*Speakers tend to blow easily
*some pp think it rides too hard
*ipod interface could be more intuitive
*some have experienced rattles in the roof/ pillars/ back deck
that's all the issues I can think of that seem to be fairly common. In my experience personally, I have only had blown speakers. I think this is a very good sign of good build quality when a vehicle that has been on the market close to three years only has such minor complaints. I'm over 25K miles and I love my 09 SH-AWD like the day I bought it.

Very lucky indeed. I had a center channel and a rear door speaker blow. I replaced them all with aftermarket so no problems now.

You and me both. It's the wifes car but I crank the volume when I'm in the car with a lot of abse and so far no problems with 9,000 mile and 12 months later.

thanks for all the info i that doesn't seem too bad compared to civics,Odyssey, fit, and accord servicing bulletin or recalls. i work at a honda dealer and i didnt want to buy a car that will have alot of problems. my 03 honda element 5spd awd has been a great car nothing major wrong just put front sturts and a wheel bearing in it and just the simple maintenance, like changing the fluids and rotating the tires and brakes and etc. i have really liked the tls for a long time and i really like the 4g ones and i hope to get a 11 or must likely at 2012 tech sh awd 6mt. thats if they still make 6mts

I had a 2010 SHAWD Tech and now a 2010 Base Tech. The only 2 problems I had with my SHAWD was one of the plugs under the passenger side door armrest popped off (and broke) before I got the car. It was replaced by the dealer. The other problem was a passenger seat rattle.
For my base, there do not appear to be any mechanical problems, but there is a small tear on the steering wheel that I did not notice (and it doesn't bother me, but i'm just going to note it) until after I bought the car. There are also permanent marks/scuffs on the leather from what I had tint installed and they had to kneel on my rear seats to install the tint. No rattles on this car unless temps drop below 60, then there are 2 minor ones. One in the dash somewhere and one that I can't identify/locate.
Edit: One thing that did bother me from the SHAWD was it's gas mileage. I drive mostly city, and had a 14.5mpg avg. There's nothing that can change that, but just be prepared for it ahead of time i guess.
