Help! Need opinions on the price of a TL!
Hi everyone brand new member here. I dont actually own an acura but my mission in life right now is to do as much research and buy the perfect TL when my lease is up in 5 months. Im sure this topic has been done to death but as years go by and prices change, I just wanted all the seasoned acura owners input. Im looking for a 2009 or 10 TL SH-AWD with the tech package. I see a lot in the 19,500-20,500 range with about 70-80,000 miles on them. This being my first Luxury buy, I have never paid that much for something with so many miles. So my question is this. Is that a good price for what Im looking for? and anything to worry about with that many miles?
Thanks in advance everyone!

JJ - prices should be lower in 5 months as the new TLX is coming out. Depreciation never stops and as a new generation comes into the market - it will drop the value of previous ones.

Are you in U.S. (I assume) or Canada?
You are doing the right thing in researching your buy but prices change significantly over time. As you no doubt know, there is a big difference between awd and fwd prices for the TL.
Up here the prices drop dramatically after 100,000 km on a vehicle (62,000 miles). My unsolicited advice would be to try to buy a TL that still has some of the factory warranty on it. Good luck.

Ok. But I have noticed that even the acura cpo's only seem to extend the warranty an extra year or 12000 miles. What I'm wondering is, a well taken care of tl at 70,000 plus miles. Is twenty grand worth it? Beyond regular maintenance, is there anything I should worry about? I've only driven domestics thus far, and no offense to any one out there I wouldn't even consider spending that kind of money on a domestic with that kind of mileage. Luxury brand or not. I know acuras are Hondas, but I just wanted to get feedback from unbiased owners...

^ if the car has been taken care of, 70k miles is no problem IMO, these cars are very well built, at least in my experience with my 4g. I would try to go for a 2010 since it will be the second year of the 4g and most of the first year quirks will be worked out.

ACPV program works differently than that. I believe that it does this.
Bumper-to-Bumper: 1 year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Power train: 7 years from when first titled or 100,000 miles whichever comes first.
I've noticed Acura is MUCH more helping when it comes to fixing out of warranty stuff. I saw them pay for a cracked dash on 3G TL's.
