Hi,

I have an Acura TL 2012 Technology and comes with the Factory Xenon. If I want to change the bulb to a more blue-ish color, would I need to order the HID kit with the Ballast or just the bulbs?

Stock bulbs are 4300k which is on the whiter end of the spectrum and bright as well. Going to 6000k will result in the blue tint that you are looking for. Keep in mind the higher K value you use the less light output you will have.

 

Just change the bulbs and buy a major brand name.

I hear 5k is a good compromise.

Orsram or Philips.

At 6k or 8k you lose some light out put but, you will get some of that back in the reflectiveness of the signs being brighter.
