H.I.D Fog Lights

Hi everyone. I have a 2010 TL and want to install the hid fog light kit. My question is do you guys/gals think I should install the 5000k kit to match the stock headlights or should I spend the extra money and get 6000k headlight bulbs along with the 6000k hid fog lights?

Ive got 6k top and bottom. beautiful match

I had 8500K on my 3G, it was nice, but borderline rice. 6000/6500K is the best

Phillips 5000K are nice bulbs too. expensive though

Get the Kaixen Kit from Josh @ Excelerate.

once i get some cash saved up im gonna do blackura's setup except for instead of switchbacks im just gonna make it so the amber turn signals just light up as a blinker and not a running light. looks much cleaner like that IMO. also gotta get tints, smoked rear tails, fully black out front headlights, and a tekeda intake. well, i guess everyone has a right to be poor in college!
blackura-once i get my first mod in the mail soon ill out up a pic, i think u will like it, you gave me the idea anyway.

How do you do that? What is the term of the device needed in order to make those turn signals off when not in use instead of running lights & signals? I've been trying to search on it, but have had little luck.

^^ Thanks. I'm taking the front bumper off this weekend to send (drive) my lights to JnC, so I'll totally do that since it's already off, otherwise i guess you just go thru the wheel well (according to the manual).

there are two places that you can get the switchbacks from one is v-leds.com and the other is autolumination.com the ones from v-leds are better made but the running light goes of when the signal is activated which is not as cool as the autoliumination ones. 0.02

I actually have the Philips 5000k. Would the 5000k Kaixen HID kit match it perfectly?

Hey Blackura, did you ever had any problem after installing HID fog? couple of my friend who installed HID fog ended up damaging some fuses...

I think its mainly because they installed by themselves (my homies are not skiiled like many acurazine members here^^) but I am curious since I am also thinking about putting HID fog.

If you use a harness and relay you won't have any trouble with the fuses in the car. I agree with blackura the 6k is the best, i have the same setup.
