can you please, PLEASE, find out if Acura will EVER produce OEM Door Visors for the car? Or if a 3rd party company will??

I am baffledas to why Acura did not create these. they make it for EVERY 2010 car in their fleet...

x10

If they do make one, my concern is for the rear door visor. I'm afraid the door visor will stop at the yellow circle area, and not extend to the red circle area...It looks ugly if the door visor is stop at the yellow circle part.

Well...don't know any vendor will make one for the 4G tho...whatever...

i think it will cover both the yellow and red circle....

The reason Acura didnt make them, (im guessing) is that just past the red circle, the door visor wont cover that little piece of chrome trim that is on the C pillar....

Sigh... unfortunately, i am a smoker.. and i spend ALOT of time in my car for work.... when it rains, you cant even CRACK the window, without a waterfall gushing in

I hope they do cover it if they really going to make one...

But for the little piece on the C pillar, thats not an excuse for Acura...even the last GEN of TSX have the same similar issue but they still have a door visor for them.
Really not sure what's the reason for not making one for 4G TL......

All things cosmetic aside, I'm very much interested in that supercharger that we've been hearing about.

purchased Rotora's for my CL ... worst rotors I've ever owned. The OEMs had 50K miles on them when I switched, and I went back to them less than 15K miles later because the Rotora's kept warping and you can only turn them so many times ... and this was with 95% highway driving and downshifting for the majority of my braking. Tried Cyro's and they were only slightly better. Ended up getting DBA's and they outperformed the other two combined.

Did anybody mention head restraints? Like from the CL or something else, that would fit the posts but not be so uncomfortable?

What does the Mugen grill for the 4G TL look like?

Edit: What happened to the "quote" button?

I have a quote button, but I had to clear my browser cache after the epic AZ downtime a week or so ago...

I didn't know Mugen made a grill for the TL. Since you can't really get this car in japan (unless you import it), I wouldn't expect them to do any part for it.

Thanks for the tip. I cleared my browser's cache and everything looks normal now, "quote button" and member's avatar pics are showing again.

True ... but it doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see someone come up with a Mugen type sport grill for the TL. Something where the actual grill is deeply recessed ... and something that actually fits without requiring "professional installation" (you know ... plug and play, not gaps and excuses).

Well I can't help on the rotors yet. I will have group buys on the CT-E parts as soon as they come out. I will out together body kit pricing.

I do not believe that they will make the window visors for this model. If they though about they would have developed them with the car launch. I will look around to see if any of my aftermarket suppliers are going to.

I'm pretty sure the possibilities of a Mugen grille for 4G TL is 0%....

A Mugen grille for the new RL and TSX will have more possiblilities then the 4G TL...so we shouldn't expect too much from Mugen...

I sent an email to some U.S. distributor for Mugen and suggested the possibility of a Mugen sport grill for the 4G TL. Received no response.

Probably just pie-in-the-sky, but maybe Acura themselves will create something if they decided to come out with some variant of a sport version of the TL (Type-S?) for '11.

^ New Grille. 2011 TL. Almost 99.9% Guaranteed.

Face Lift, MMC is also a high probability, but no confirmations.

This car, did NOT sell the way it was expected too. Acura introduced the Different finish of the OEM grille for 2010, to TRY to buy over the target audiences appeal... didnt work

the new grille, will most likely fit on existing hardware.. and if i had to guess, it is going to look like the 2G TSX grille... but im just guessing

Lets face it. 4G TL Grille = Fail. to most people. i for one love it, and all of us who are here, looked past the grille, to the real beauty of this car.

Rob ... did you lose interest in this due to the "other" thread that suddenly appeared? The end of the week would of been last Friday.
