Is this a Great Price???

I received the following internet Quote for a FWD Tech package. This is the first quote no negotiations yet.

Was: $39,445
Pricing on the 2009 Acura TL Tech is:*$35,566

Unlike most Internet Prices from other dealers, our Internet Pricing does include the $760.00 Destination Charge. "No Nonsense Internet Pricing"

*Tax, tags and any dealer-installed options that may be on a specific vehicle are not included in this pricing.

*Pricing subject to change without prior notice. Payment Terms may effect Internet Advertised Pricing. Not responsible for errors or errors of omission. Internet pricing available for IN-STOCK vehicles only. Price could be subject to some restrictions, please ask for details.

Our goal is to make this a unique car buying experience, making you a "Customer For Life!" I would like to make an appointment with you to show you the vehicle. When would there be a good time for us to get together?

I this s good price???

Invoice is $36,316 so I would say that is a good price since there is $1K dealer cash he is passing most of that on to you. I woudl say that is a very decent deal.

Very good pricing...

I would check dealerratings.com, edmund's dealer page and make sure it is a good dealership that is convenient to you. Establishing a good relationship with a good dealer is important. Then I would make sure they are not tacking on any unreasonable "documentation" fees/etc...

If all that checks out...jump on it.

get the "total drive out price" watch once you get there may try to tell you the car has mud flaps, mats, tint, and trunk mat - and they want $1300 for em.. Tried that w/ me - I told em how about $250 - they took it

Thank Guys I appreciate the feed back. The out the door price is a good suggestion. This dealer is where I purchased my 2004 TL I got a great price then when no one else would deal.

I'm currently looking for a used 3G and stopped by a Boston, MA area dealer this weekend. One of the 09 w/Tech in the showroom stated that it was a "Managers Special" and had the price of $35,556 displayed, or $386/month with $3k down for a 39 month/10k mile lease.

Seems like they're trying to move these things...

I'm curious to see tomorrow or Wednesday they shoudl release January sales, I think TL is sucking bad in sales. My dealer says he has never seen so few sales. I'll stick by my statemenst that the perfect storm hs hit the TL, bad economy, $3K price increase and quiestionable styling!

Just received this yesterday by email (from dealer in SoCal), and they include destination... it also said this weekend only, they'll include the Acura ProPack (normally $750) for only $250 more:

2009 TL BASE MODEL $31395.00
2009 TL TECH MODEL $33490.00
2009 TL TECH AWD! $38569.00

This is the best I've personally seen, and they said these prices work with the 2.9% and 3.9% financing as well.

Maybe time to buy one! Now, if I could only walk away from the A4 that's pulling me... it will be easier now that the price gap just widened to about $5K though!

it's a package lots of the dealers put on the cars... not sure exactly what's in it, but I know it includes the color-matched mudflaps, the "winter" heavy-duty floor mats & trunk liner, etc. Overpriced most likely at $750, but $250 seems very reasonable.

at my dealer it included the above plus window tint and vin# etching on the glass (etching - next to worthless - takes 2 min to do - and NO your insurance won't give you a discount for it)

they wanted over $1k for this - this was in addition to a total out the door price I was given b4 I got to the dealer - I told em I would give them $250 for it and they took it.

I hope you bought one of these at this price. I am checking in with the dealer now about these prices to see if he can do the same. I would drive up there today if I can get it for this price. WOW!

I didn't buy yet... the dealer that sent me this only has 2 AWDs, neither of which are the color combos I'd get. Pricing is only for dealer stock. I tried to get another dealer (who DOES have the combo I want) to match, and he said "no way, that's a ridiculously low price".

The bottom line is if you're open to your color combo, there are fantastic deals right now, but if you're color choices are limited (for me, PMM w/umber), you're "stuck" a bit due to the very limited inventory of AWD models in some areas.

I tried and the dealer that I am dealing with said that the lowest he can go on the car is $34,940.

Would you be willing to share the dealers name? I will be in So Cal next weekend. Best I can do in NorCal is MSRP. Excuse is the Tech SH-AWD hard to come by, he only has 7 sitting on his lot.

Best quote I've received is $35,500, but when I was ready to pull the trigger, I stumbled across this deal, please let me know your thoughts.
Used 2400 miles, Black Pearl w/Ebony interior FWD Tech, includes all underbody spoilers, tinted windows and 18 in. chrome-look TL wheels and tires, best I can get this to is $36K

the car was purchased from same dealer by older couple who is now wanting AWD model, so they ordered one with add on options on it. only down side is one wheel was curbed, but I can have that fixed for 90.00

yeah I hope not, but the man owns a racing team is very well off and I think he likes to tweak cars a bit? They ordered the AWD w/about 6K in options as well according to the dealer. I had the car for a day and their finance contract and sticker were in the glove box. When they bought they car in Oct. they paid full boat 44,500 with all the options they added to MSRP on TL Tech.

I've tried to find something wrong with the car and can't so far.
