Smile Give the man a cookie!

So, I came home today and saw a USPS box from my dealer where I just bought the TL. I wasn't expecting anything so I was curious. What was in it?

A tin/box of cookies that said "Thank You"!

Wow, that's kind of cool. I know this is rare, as I have never heard of this at all. I like my dealer.

Besides cookies and a good price, because my car was coming off a truck and I needed a car ASAP, they set me up with a loaner car until my car came in (which came out to 3 days). I mean it's really the little things that matter because so many people when buying their next latest and greatest car, they get bogged down with so much BS that they can't even enjoy the car when they get it. I'm very glad my dealer made the experience as painless as possible.

Yay for Mac Churchill Acura in Ft. Worth, TX! (yes, a plug, but I think they deserve it).

Weird. I went for some minor service a week or two ago to my dealership and they were baking cookies at the dealership and leaving them out for the customers. Acura's got a cookie thing going... lol.

Free Cookies? Well that's all the incentive a fat guy like me needs. I'll be driving to the dealer for an after lunch snack today.

I bought a motorcycle about 18 months ago - the dealer gives customer a chocolate cake - really good one too!!!

You are right, it doesn't cost much to make a customer feel appreciated. Either that or they were thanking us for paying too much instead of negotiating for another three hours

Not a surprise. Those are the Acura brand cookies which you will also find in the waiting rooms at the dealerships. I like them because they are cooked right at the dealership and not imported from Japan.

I prefer the $200 in AMEX gift cards I got for gas when I picked up my TL.

I was offered a free one hour massage with a happy ending....too bad his name was Bill ...had to decline. (LMAO) - JUST KIDDING

In all seriousness though, you are correct, sometime its the little things that people do that goes a longgggg way to make you feel appreciated! I know I could not ask for a better dealership. It makes all the difference in the world.

At my dealer, they keep a supply of muffins (chocolate chip, banana nut, lemon) which are quite nice and the concierge is quite pretty as well! I don't mind going in there.

When I worked at an Acura dealership, if the buyer was a women, we sent her a dozen roses. If the buyer was a guy, we sent them a box of golf balls with the Acura logo on them.
