Alright here they are. Pics aren't the best, it was dusk, and the car is filthy but here a few pics.

Yeah, i'm glad i decided to get them smoked. JnC had to talk me into it, and i'm glad he did. They light up as if they weren't smoked. Makes a big difference

Yeah i meant to order the bulbs last week but i forgot and now i have to go to Mississippi for work next week, so i will have to wait before i install them. I'm going to order a set for my blinkers up front as well.

I believe they are the same as noelmarley's tail lights, but his car is WDP. It really goes well with the CBP

TSX lens swap

To those of you who swapped the TSX lens, is it pretty easy process? Are we talking about removal of screws only or removal of glue/dremmel-ing?

Also, will this item work? What's the difference between this one on ebay with our stock? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Thanks much

JnC, thanks for the price quote on painting. In the process of saving the $$$ for you to do both front and back at once. Love your work! Wish you are in SoCal

To swap the lenses the projector has to be removed and opened, to remove the projector the headlights have to be opened and disassembled.

The ebay item that you are referring to is a set of projector assemblies and are completely irrelevant to our application. We are just changing the glass lenses for the projectors, oem ones are foggy with low opacity where as the ones used for the swap are crystal clear.

^^ you read my mind, I have been trying to visualize what they would look like color matched. I have been thinking that the Mayan may just be dark enough to get away with instead of going with a flat black?

Color matched would look sick I was going to PM you and advise that, I personally have an RRP 3G and here is how the color matched RRP headlights look.

Unfortunate you didn't think of addressing this when the question was 1st posed back in post #200 ...

Not really sure how to interpret the above comment?

The question you posted seemed like it was open for debate rather than directed square at me.

Color choice completely favors what sort of theme you are shooting for. For instance, venoms headlights and tail lights suited him as he has a black colored TL and a glossy black set up would suite his application. In case of Noel he wanted to go with a blacked out headlights and tail lights combo compare that to pimpin white's headlights where he just wanted to go cleared to keep a clean look going.

Clear always looks good on cars as it gives the front end a clean look, blacked out would look good if you have something else beside the headlights and tail lights black to compliment the set up. In case of TLNV I suggest color matched as we can color match everything to go well with the over all color of the car and keep the ridges in front of the projector silver to compliment the silver front grille. He can also go flat black to compliment the black/diamond cut present in the wheels.

If there is a question pertinent to anyone's particular set up then I am only a PM away .

how easy are these headlights to install once you get them back from JNC?

I don't have a lot of car knowledge so I am wondering what I would need for this.

What about the tails? Does the bumper need to come off for those?

And Venom... I just saw your sig, when did you get the RJ Grille, and why haven't you posted pic's yet??

Well i ordered the grill in August, i received it in October, had to send it back and got it back the day before Thanksgiving, i installed it that weekend with the Kaixen fogs. Haven't posted pics cuz i live in Mass and its been snowing and my nice black car looks grey with all the salt on it And its been too cold to wash it right now its in the mid 20's. I'll see what i can do, but the pics will be bad cuz the car is filthy.

The tails are so easy to remove, just undo the couple of black screw downs in the drunk and the flat head plastic screw. Takes about 10 minutes to take out the tails.

Yea, post it anyway, as a fellow masshole, I'll forgive you for the dirty car. I just ordered some Optimum No-Rinse to wash my car in the garage on a 40+ degree day (waiting for that one).

Mainly I just am curious to see how it looked with the blacked out lights.. I don't think anyone has posted a CBP w/ RJ Grille and JnC lights.

does anyone know where I can buy replacement headlights & taillights for the 4G or are these not readily available?

I want the headlights from JnC but I don't have another car to drive while my headlights are being worked on.
