....it was fun.

Moving on from my 2010 TL SH-AWD to a 2016 Golf R. Two different worlds for sure.

Those Golf R's might as well have a Audi S3 badge on them, they're nearly the same car. I love the stealth of the Golf R over the Audi S3 but I'm not as fascinated with them as I was when they had the V6 R32 model with center exit exhaust.

SlowLane, thanks! Appreciate it. wreak, the S3 is nice, but something about the stealh of it as you said was truly alluring. The quads are really nice though. rockstar143, thanks.

I love the S3 in looks and performance. This car may perform like an S3, but its not nearly as Sexay
Congrtz on the new car though. Always loved the seats on these cars.

Congrats. A smaller car is always more agile than a bigger one.

Nice! DSG or 6-spd? I was eyeing one of these but just can't get over the price tag at the moment. They do appear to hold their value well, at least better than other VAG products.

ABDormega, DSG. I jump behind the wheel for no reason other than to stretch it out! LOL Silver1...ummm, I looked into the S3 but it appeared more formal than sexy to me. I spent quite a bit of time test driving the S3, E-Tron, GTI and even the S4 before getting back into the R. I left a sweet deal on the table for a 2016 TLX SH-AWD on the table as well.

Thanks....no diesel here. I have the R. Strange thing is TDI owners around my way aren't taking them in to have them worked on and they won't sell them. LOL

Thanks everyone. DSG, decided to give V Dub a go again, incredible ride and performance...worth the price. Solid build, smooth and precise acceleration, awesome sound yet quiet on the highway...I don't like saying I love inanimate or material objects but this thing had me damn near saying it. Ran into a guy over the wekend who traded in his 2011 Lexus G for one as well.
