Cool A Full review of the Stealth Auto 4500 HID Kit - H11 2012 TL Fogs

After mentioning for so long that I was going to install matching HID kit for my fogs here they are.

To start I have a 2012 TL and this kit was bought for the fogs; they are H11. I want them to match the stock HID's temperature. Almost everyone i know want’s the same thing.
So I went and bought this kit from Stealth Auto for 105.00. Two days later they drop the price to 87.50. WTF Stealth Auto?
I did some research and found that too many sites out there claim to have the best kit, but when a third party reviews them they all fail.
So I went with Stealth Auto because I have dealt with before. It does sound stupid, but would you rather do business with a company that you don’t even know? Or a company who you have bought stuff from and has worked as promised. Lets hope that this relatively expensive kit works just as advertised.
So I got the HID kit today but I didn’t have time to properly install it. I did take some pictures though.

Here are the ballasts

They seem very sterdy. The metal case feels thick.

Canbus Pro Ballast

I thought they would be Stealth Auto branded, hummm.

Ballast has a serial number.
Don't know if it actually means something or if this is how they control their returns.

Super Vision bulbs - Sounds like a TV station.

They go connected to the bulbs.

They do look water proofy.

Right to the ballast.

Rubber piece

Don't know but they seem to be able to get power else where.

This kit has no type of instructions. They are made to be plug and play for us "The Installers"

The bulb part one.

Please ignor the background. I didn't realize how detail it was.

Much more detail on the important.

Over the weekend or maybe tomorrow I should have some time to install this kit. I will be taking pics and then posting them right here.

my best advice is get relay kit.. its better to have it before you put everything back together, sometimes HID kits flicker and it doesnt hurt to have a $7 relay kit for reassurance.

Here are the pics of the install. I will take some night pictures later to see if they match. I hope they do because I was very meticulous during the install.

I know the lights look yellow but they are stock.

The match is almost 100%. The fog light housing has no cover on the lights themselves. So the HID bulb is pure. the white output of these HID's is pure white with no blue. So they match about 95%. they are so clean white that i might change my stocks just for that .05%.

I think that the stock HID is rated at 4300 and the fog HID is rated at 5K. Thats why the slight change.

But at night they both look sexy when on.

Here are those night pics. As you can see the kits produces very bright white light. There is no blue at all.

Thanks for sharing the info, it looks cool. Just concerned why did you have to tape unprotected metal plugs into the OEM plug, instead of it having a matching plug that would adjust firmly thus eliminating this not so ideal connection? The kit I bought for my wifes car was really plug and play.

Apparently the kit that is for this car is not so plug and play.
But it works for me.

BToronto-I was going to get the extreme kit but it was a bit too much for me for an HID kit. I hope to see your pictures soon.

Fleming23-I got the stealth auto 4300 HID kit.

I'd be interested in seeing PICs of your kit as well BToronto. What kit did you buy? 4300k or 5000k?
