Floor Mat Compatibility

I'll soon be trading my 2009 TL w/Tech for a 2012 SH-AWD with Tech. My '09 has Acura's all weather floor mats which are in good shape. Are these definitely the same size as what is made for an '12 TL SH-AWD? From what I've read, the interior of the MM refresh is nearly identical but wanted to check.

Thank you.

x2. When I purchased floor mats for my 12 they had not yet updated the model year compatibility info so I went with 09-11 mats which fit perfect.

Thank you.
Mats from a non-AWD will NOT be a pefect fit. The transmisison tunnel is slightly wider on the AWD front and rear. You can probably get away with it, but the fronts will definately curl up against the tunnel. The rears are affected too, but not quite as much as the fronts. Go to Weathertech's www.weathertech.com website and compare the AWD and non-AWD outlines, you see this difference.

This is true; I didn't pay attention to the fact that you are going from a Tech to an SH.

Thank you all for the feedback. I picked up the AWD TL a few days ago. My mats from the non-AWD are not a perfect fit as Tony states, but for the winter I feel they're close enough for me. I asked the question on this board because I didn't want the dealer to sway me into buying something I didn't need. Some AWD owners may want the perfect fit but I'm OK with the mats I have.
