I've been a Buick guy for years, mainly LeSabres. My last Buick was a 2014 Verano, which met an untimely demise after an encounter with a deer; which happens all too often in Michigan.
I needed a decent car fast and I found a two-owner 2010 TL, with only 51,000 miles at an upscale used car dealer. They were asking ~$11k (I've purchased two previous vehicles from same place - no issues.)
I checked Consumer's Reports new & used car reviews from 2010 forward and it had good reviews all the way. My mechanic checked it out and gave it a thumbs up.
I asked the dealer why it was still on the lot, and he told me that there just wasn't that much interest in Acura's in the area. My payoff from the Buick goes a long way towards paying the loan.
Any words of advice, from you more scholarly owners?
Congrats on the new car! Should be a interesting change from the Buicks. Is it FWD or sh-awd?
Congrats on the new Car.
I have three friends with the FWD like yours and they have proven to be very reliable. All have well over 200k kms and no major issues apart from normal wear and tear.
"Dopeboy1" It's a FWD. You can tell from the Rims and the Lower Grille area where the Turn Signals are.
I was pretty sure it was fwd but figured I would ask anyways. There was a time when I thought technology package added the 18 inch wheels but now I believe it's sh-awd that adds them.
Anyways it's good to see you still hanging around karkraze!
