So pretty sure previous owner removed the splash shield that goes directly under the oil pan and where the engine and trans meet, unless it’s just exposed from the factory?

can’t seem to find a part # to this splash shield, any help would be appreciated

ACURA TL FRONT SPLASH SHIELD (ENG UNDER CVR) OEM#74111TK4A10 2009-2014 PL#AC1228110 https://share.google/lAloObWdwW6yeDoGT
Doubt you'll find it any cheaper.

You could just leave it off and don't worry about getting a replacement. I removed mine and just left it off for convenience.

So I have this piece …. But to the left of it or on the driver side where the oil pan is there is nothing. See pic

yeah normally I wouldn’t care and would leave it off, but there is actually chunk missing leaving part of the flex plate exposed. I don’t need a rock flying in there man…

side note is there an oil drain valve that works with this oil pan? I had bought a fumoto even with extension it’s too short

The below OEM parts diagram shows the #6 piece that you have (red arrow).
My guess is if there was a piece that was supposed to be present 'where the oil pan is' it would be shown on the below OEM vendor diagram (purple arrow)?

Because the exhaust pipe is located at the level of the subframe, there should not be a cover there.
Oil drain valve? Is the thread on your plug stripped?

Did you ever get it from the link I posted? $50 shipped and then you can go to harbor freight and get a variety pack of push pins for $10. Trust me, you're not going to get it any cheaper and don't waste your time at the junk yards. Came in all folded up in the box. I opened it up and let it set out in the sun to relax it. Didn't really have any problems installing it although it was a little bit of a pain in the ass up into the wheel wells. Takes a little bit of patience and time as usual. Works well on the wife's car as long as she doesn't pull up on you know what. Good luck.
