Deals in August

Our Tribeca's lease is done in October. Any ideas on how the leftover deals will be in August? Wife drove the SH-AWD tech yesterday and loved it. BTW, she HATES car shopping...

? That is about 3 months away. Unless someone else on here is an almighty Seer , who can look into the future for you, I don't think anyone could answer that for you now. Your lucky if by the beginning-middle of July, at the earliest, if there are rumors to what Acura or dealer incentives there will be come August!

End of August/September is usually a good time to buy a car. December is probably the best due to the dealers wanting to clear inventory.

The current leases/finance deals run until early July. At that point they will release the new lease/finance options. Leasing late in the year is usually not advantageous. A good portion of a lease calculation is based off the residual value. When you lease late in the model year you will be looking at lower residuals than the folks who lease early in the model year meaning you're paying for more of the cars value than they did.

My advise would be to look at what you could do now on the lease, it may save you money over waiting until your current lease matures. If you are looking at purchasing this time waiting until late in the model year can be advantageous as dealer cash incentives are usually at their highest.
