Dealership pulling a fast one on me?

I had torque converter changed on my 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD a few months ago at an Acura dealership. Ever since then, the steering wheel never quiet felt right. The steering wheel was off centered and felt like it was getting stuck in one place and needed a bit of push to turn the steering wheel and to make matters worse the alignment was way off.

I took the vehicle back to the dealership and all they did was four wheel alignment. Next morning on my way to work the steering wheel would lock up on making right turns . Towed the vehicle to the dealership and i was told that the steering rack needs to be replace and the cost is around $2300 including parts and labor.

Any suggestions on what might have happened to the steering rack during the Torque converter swap?

sorry to hear your bad experience with your TL... most likely technicians screwed something up, I haven't hear any steering rack issues on TL's

You'll never get them to cover the entire cost. Ask them to split it with you and NEVER take your car there again.
