CT Parts for 4G
Just received an email from CT engineering..
"Unfortunately we are working on a second prototype of the airbox, and do not have a release date at this time. We will be releasing the Carbon Fiber Grille first, and will be working on a supercharger in the near future as well. Thanks for considering CTE."
CF front grill? Im assuming its going to be like the TSX version. Hopefully the icebox will be released soon..

Nice... CF grille might battle with the RJ grille... BUT ... i dont think CF will flow all that well
Icebox was my biggest concern, or at least immediate concern..... S/C is GREAT to know they are developing... i knew they would
everybody and their mother is going to own the 4G TL (just like the 3G) in about.....2 years

I'll probably get the Icebox when it comes out, but for now I'm just waiting on exhaust parts. Then I really have nothing else to do but wait for the supercharger... that will be going on the car as soon as it's released.

i am DEFINITELY going to supercharge this car... the AWD needs it... imagine a 400hp SH-AWD 3.7L TL....
i too, will wait for the Icebox.... i dont like the idea of SRI's in my car....

yea i know, but at least the ice box is "stealthy" looking.... looks like an OEM intake (at least what i saw on the 2G)
So, we cant have a CAI, because of the brake cooling duct? i am sure some reputable company will create a mount or something to use the oem duct, or maybe even provide us with one...

I agree, the icebox is definitely sharp looking in the bay. Well you could just leave that piece on the car so your cooling duct stays in place. I think you could build something around it, but the R&D people probably don't want to do it. I read through Takeda's install instructions and they actually don't tell you to remove ANY of the stock resonator piping, just the box. The dyno on the short ram is pretty impressive though. But I've always been much of a fan of using a pressurized box for an intake, I just feel like it's better system and cleaner because the element isn't so exposed.
