CPO 12' TL Tech SHAWD for $28000 pull trigger?

Went to see the car today. And left a deposit for it.

Overall looks good in and out .. just a scratch they'll fix, but they won't fix other small scratches inside and out.

Waiting to sell my civic and take it to Drew at the "the pit shop garage"

It's a nail biter for me because I've been wanting one fot a long time

That is actually a pretty good price for a CPO. But also know that the release of the TLX has drastically driven down the price on any leftover '14 TLs which will in turn drive down the prices on used or CPO TLs. I saved 8 grand on a new TL SH-AWD two months ago and probably could've saved even more if I had waited.

Do you think they'll drop the price after i already agreed to the 28k? the manager kept going on and on about it being a fair price and his very expensive computer program he uses to price it approriately for the market
and that there aren't any other cars priced lower for the same mileage and yada yada yada

he barely agreed to the 28k

if the mechanic finds anything wrong i'll ask for it to be discounted

I highly doubt he'll waiver any more since you already agreed to it. In June, I was looking at a '12 and they wanted $32k. I didn't try really hard to negotiate but they didn't act like they'd come down too much. That's when I started looking at new and got the same package on a '14 agreed to at $37,700. Ultimately, wanted the Advance wheels so paid a bit more for the Advance. I don't think you're getting hurt at $28k

Well guys, I just received a call from the dealership. The used car manager doesnt want to hold the car til Monday liked we had agreed. If I wanted the car, he wanted me to come in tonight and sign for it. I'm at work so thats not happening. Plus I haven't taken it to Drew (Mechanic).

Though the price is pretty good, the manager's attitude isnt. If he is backing out of the purchase date, wonder what else would he back out of later, if you need to get it serviced or fixed for any reason. Since TLX is out, I am pretty sure some good deals will be popping up in the near future. If the dealer got back to you with the original offer, go for it. I came across some TL SH-AWD for around 30K on cars.com, but they were not CPO.

If the manager jerked out on you, dont lose heart. TLX SH-AWD will be arriving soon, so TL SH-AWD will be getting cheaper.

Funny you should say that ...they said they would change out the grill (because of a bubble) under warranty 60 days after I purchased it. but they didn't put it on the sales ticket. They wanted to give me the manager's business with it written on there ..

It's weird that he wont wait considering the fact that you did put down a deposit on the car. Like others are saying, there will be other deals to be had if this one falls through
