complements from Allen.

I've been hanging with my sister today, and she has decided to go shopping for things for her house.

So, I'm driving into this house furnishing place, (obviously making my way to the back of the parking lot to avoid getting my car hit) and I get to the back and I see this silver car taking up like 3 parking spots. I get out and start walking towards the store and see its a 4G TL FWD.

Its a man and his wife obviously test driving it. I assume he was talking to his wife about it, because they were sitting in the car with it running. I'm walking past, and they are looking at me. I looked at them and pointed to the car. He moved his head like what? I pointed to the car again and gave a thumbs up. He smiled and I kept walking. I turned around and they were driving off.

So, I hope my comment pushed them into purchasing the TL. lol Even though it was only the FWD model, it was still nice. The cars look way better in person, almost look like something exotic.

Just sharing my little story with you guys. lol I'm seeing more and more 4G's on the road. Yesterday, I seen two WDP TLs on the interstate about two miles apart from each other. Both were FWD.

I still haven't seen a SH-AWD yet.

Thanks Allen! As a previous owner myself, it was hard letting go of the 3G look, so kudos for the mature attitude unlike others on this forum. The AWD looks much sportier do to better rims which really make the car IMO. Was the front and back painted?

Nope, the front and rear were both unpainted. I'm not really sure what exact color it was, but it was silver. There are so many 4G colors that look silver.

I did look at a 4G TL FWD at the dealership, but it was a dark gray. What color would that be? I thought it was Anthracite Metallic?

I think Acura is having a unique experience with the TL. It was critisized for the 3G TL being to bland, so they really amped it up with the 4G. They went all out, and got critisized for it being ugly. Now, after about 7 months of being released, people are really liking the design. (I fit in this category) I don't think Acura is stupid enough to make an ugly car. I mean, the designers wouldn't create a car they wouldn't drive themselves. Ugly designs usually don't make it to production. I think the more time the designers spent with the look, the more they liked it. Just like the public is doing now. Thats why the 4G TL got the look it did, and that the look actually made it to production. I hated it at first, but now I like it, and would drive one.

The dark grey silver is called Grigio. The slightly lighter silver color is called Polished Metal Metallic and the really silver car is called Palladium Metallic.

This car was Palladium Metallic then.

The nose didn't contrast much with the car.
