Clear lens swap and tune
Whats up guys. I recently worked on some 4g tl headlights and just wanted to share the results.
I installed some tsx-r clear lenses, replaced the stock cut off shields with some custom curved ones, and fine tuned everything to get the most sharp and flickeish cut off as possible.
To top it off i added some red demon eyes to make it a bit fancy.
Let me know what you guys think!

Cost depends on what all you want done. Best to contact sd_retrofits on Instagram or Facebook. I don't think he's too active on here but you can always PM him.
It is not the oem reflector, it's a clear reflector that is identical to the oem one.
I'll be installing these tomorrow as I just recieved them back today. You can check my build thread later for updates.

Of course! I do not plan to drive around with them on. They are strictly for show and he included them as a homie hook up. They will be wired up to a switch so they will not be running 24/7. The rest of my lighting looks really good so I don't plan to have the demon eyes take that aspect away. Thanks for your warning though.

Bumping a old post. But I need some guidance on this topic. I recently did the TSX-r clear lens swap and simply just slapped everything in and called it a day. Cut off is very blurry and I definitely need to tune them. My question is what is the best way to tune them because I dont think theres any room to space out the lens itself. It looks like I'm gonna have to add spacers either before the cut off or between the cutoff shield and projector. Any info will help thanks

The inconvenient truth
You definatly need spacers. A member on here named 'KarKraze' should be able to better guide you. He sent me some spacers and they look like kind of like washers. So you might be able to use different size washers. I haven't done this mod yet but am still planning on it. So im not sure where exacrtly you stick the spacers. Heres what karkraze sent me on the subject, you could private message him for more info
Install the headlights on the car without the outer plastic cover.
Switch on the headlights and illuminate a wall say 10 feet away.
Look for a distinct sharp line followed by an upward angle and the another straight line.
The pattern should follow through with both headlights, at the top of the cutoff you should see some blue coloration.
You need to get the line sharp not jumbled or scattered.
This is how I did mine, there may be other ways.
Once you are happy with the pattern then remove the headlights and seal them up.
I will see if I have a picture of my cutoff or you can google “sharp cutoff from headlight projectors “ and see some images.

if there's no space on the lens holder, you can space out the front and rear of the projector using washers.
