clear bra or vinyl wrap

Hi all
Did you guys do the clear bra or vinyl wrap when buying new or very new pre-owned?
driving on I93 to MA in the morning or some other highways gets my TL hit by small stone or rocks very often which made front bumper and engine hood dent and paint damage. it is very annoying.
If plastic dip color in clear can help?

plastdip it flat black, put multiple coats on so that you can easily peel it off later..

thinner coast = harder time to take off

plastdip would be the cheapest and best way to do it.. you do not need a clear coat.

One of my parents has a 2012 Tech in what I assume to be white pearl (I personally have a 3G, so I don't know the 4G color schemes). I recommended the clear bra when they bought it used, because the car was in immaculate condition. Usually a reputable window tint installer will have the tools/knowledge to do the install, assuming you are not interested in tackling the project yourself.

I highly recommend 3M clear bra, it has not gotten discolored after about 1.5 years. For this particular vehicle, we chose an intermediate package for ~700 USD. It included full front bumper, front fenders, and hood up to halfway. Also included door cups, door edges, and side mirrors.

On a side note, I bought my 2008 3G with 38K miles in January. The paint is mint, so I am planning a wrap for it as well. Probably will just go with the basic, since the car is not as valuable. For the basic kit, they will do front bumper and half hood/fenders for ~400. Getting this done within the next week or two!

Clear bra is the way to go but labor is expensive! Then again, I've watched technicians do it and it's all patience and skills.
