clear bra

clear bra
I just got a 2009 Acura TL, and wanted to get a clear bra applied to it. Does anyone have an opinion as to what brand I should go with?
Also I read somewhere that a clear bra might sometimes yellow, don't know if that’s true. Also read that if an applied clear bra is later taken off, a significant difference in the way the paint has aged will be noticed, between the protected area and unprotected area. By this I mean the shade of the paint not the finish; I know that the finish of the paint that is protected would be in better shape.
Any help is appreciated. By the way I live in the Chicago area so if anyone knows a reputable shop that does this kind of work let me know, thanks.

I was rather limited as to who did clear bra around here. I went with the XPel because it was spoken of rather highly by other posters in this site. The guy that did mine had the machine to cut the patterns from a roll thereby saving some money over the pre-cut kits.
It also seems that when people took them off a few years later and detailed the car they couldn't tell the difference between un-clear bra and clear bra. I don't think the reputable films yellow anymore either. Good luck.

I've been using Xpel for the past 5 years and I highly recommend it. If you do a lot of highway driving, it's a must. It'll save your front end from looking like crap. (My car is leased so I don't really care what the paint will look like in a couple years, but still it's worth it).
