child car seats and booster seats
Anyone have any name brands, or experience with brands that fit into a 2010 TL.

The brand for booster seats I use for my girls is CLEK- http://www.magnaclek.com/us/english/ozzi/index.aspx

I've been using a Graco car seat for my recently turned 3 year old. Fits very well with the LATCH system.
|
I highly recommend Britax car seats. They're smaller, comfortable and easy to install.

Britax is the way to go IMO.

I have 2 Graco's. Most expensive MOD so far. HA!

I have the Recaro Signo G2 in my 3G. Beautiful seat and its a Recaro

Britax Marathon is the 5-point I used for my son, used it from 6 mos of age to just a few weeks ago (he's 4 y/o next month). Only the best for his safety! They are robust, heavy, and can be used both rear-facing for babies or front-facing for toddlers up to 80 pounds. Expensive ($200+) but worth every penny.
Now I've moved on to a Graco Highback Turbobooster seat for him as he's too tall for the Marathon. |
I have a Britax in my car too. Easy to install and an excellent car seat.

Thanks for everyones replies. Seems like a great forum.

My wife says that the Sunshine Radian is a good carseat too. It has a high weight/height limit. It is also one of the narrowest, so it fits into cars really well. Alot of her friends have it and love it.
It does rear face for up to 40 lbs. |
I would suggest the book baby bargains. They have an extensive section on choosing the right car seat. As well as other great tips. The two best car seats you can get is the Bitrax marathon/boulevard and the Recaro Signo G2.
