Which cat converter replacement should I try to go with for 4G (09-14) TL?
Hey all, I recently did a OEM swap on 4G TL. Things seemed to have been going well but have now realized that the catalytic converters are clogged badly and need to be replaced.
My question to you: What replacement is the cheapest / most effective?
Personally I'm not after gains with this project and don't want the car to be loud as it's just supposed to be a daily not a race car.
Goal here is to maintain stock or slightly louder sound while resolving the flow issues.
OEM? Ebay? Autozone? Magnaflow? RV6? I truly don't know lol so that's why I've come here to try and gather some opinions.
Any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all

not sure if you can buy the high flow ones from RV6 but that's your best bet other than used or factory. Factory parts are going to be $$$ and you might be able to get used cats from a junkyard/salvage yard. Do you have the AWD version or FWD? If AWD, the cats could have been damaged from oil consumption and you'll want to address that first.

Thank you for the reply.
Yes AWD and it was having oil issues but did a swap so hopefully that's taken care of now lol.
Might try to find used ones at junkyard or just weld in test pipes, other than that probably RV6
Thanks a lot

do oil consumption test, in meantime you can try to hollow out your factory cats if they are really plugged to buy some time. Double the labor but will get you some time.
