Car Care Package??
My dealer, Hendrick Acura, offers a package called the Car Care Package.
This package includes an initial application of protectant to the exterior and interior of the car.. This package warranties paint and clear coat against damage from acid rain, bird dropping, and anything else enviromental. The package is 389 bucks.
Would you guys/girls purchase this or not?
I have a black TL with black interior. Thank you for any advice. I'm having a hard time deciding because it is a good bit of money and I don't want to just throw my money away.

Another worthless add-on by the dealer to squeeze more $$ out of you.
Skip it and just make sure you wax your car at least 2X/year (I do about 6X). And also get some nice leather cleaner/conditioner for the inside.

Dealler crap, skip it. Get the car home, clar bar it and lay decnt wax on it and refeesh it at least once a quarter to keep it really nice, at minimum twice a year. Depends on weather and garaging conditions. On the leather I use LeatherCPR about every 4-6 weeks and after 9 months and 9K miles my leather looks as good as when I picked the car up.

Like many say if it was such a miracle product it would have been put on from the factory. So definitely skip it. Kinda like the dealer wanting $400 to tint the car. I was like are you serious, that is like another car payment for something I can get for $150.

It is total bullshit to boost their profit just like the "Dealer Fees" or "Document Fees" they undoubtedly charged you as well.
They make you think these are normal costs that everyone pays. They don't. Refuse them.
I wouldn't even let the dealer prep my new TL. I took it with the protective plastic still on it and spent three days detailing at home using Zaino products so I know it was done right.
There are many good products out there. Zaino is just my preference for most products.
Before you let them do anything to your car, ask to walk around back and watch how they prep someone else's new car. My dealer had an auto car wash with rotating plastic brushes that had see a bazillion cars. Then, they "hand" washed it with big, soft, push brooms, before letting the car jockeys have a shot at using a buffer on it to get rid of the swirl marks that the car wash and brush-mops made.
