Cool Which car to buy?

I have narrowed it down to 2 cars and would like your opinions. 2012 black on blk with 18,000 miles awd advanced Cpo, put into service 7/11 from Acura dealer or 2012 black on umber awd advanced, 8000 miles put into service 5/12 from jag dealer. Both same price.

Welcome to Acurazine, what is the price on these 2 cars?

I like the Certified TL of the two your looking at.

I'd take the second one. Less miles and I'd love to have the Umber interior.
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a FWD TL Advanced (don't want or need awd or the harsher ride) and it kills me that I can't get one with Umber.

they both woudl be great... it all comes down to price.

i can almost gaurantee you the one at the jag dealer you can get a better deal b/c you KNOW they took it on trade and they raped the seller on the price.. AND it's a jag dealer..they don't have customers walking on the lot to look at an Acura.. they only took the TL to sell a Jag... so they want to get RID of the Acura..

whereas the Acura dealer with that CPO car may have bought it at auction.. competing against other buyers, then they put money into it to CPO it... they will want to get a pretty good retail price out of it since they bought it with the goal of resellign it to make a profit.

the jag dealer views the TL as a liability they want to dump. so they will get rid of it as soon as they can.

look up what LOW blue book is on that TL they have and see if htey will take that...

either car you will love. an AWD TL is a sweet ride. I love my SH-AWD TL... it's a sweet car!!

Of the 2, the Black/Umber would be my choice. It's a somewhat rare color combo and looks so nice. I wish I had umber

As others have said, you are more likely to deal with the Jag dealership, though with only 8K miles, it's like new... or should be.

Good luck on your decision!

I prefer less mile, but like CPO advantages.

Welcome to the forum. With different interior colors I'd go with the one you like the most. Both cars appear to be clean and low miles so that wouldn't be a factor for me.

Welcome! All good advice here. Personally, I'd take the lower miles even though it's not CPO. It's practically brand new. You could likely negotiate a better deal with the non CPO car. And I have a soft spot for umber especially with a black or white exterior. Of course you do get a piece of mind with a CPO car but both are still under factory warranty so you can't lose. Just one will last a couple years longer lol. No big deal since you can opt to extend the warranty.

I'd take the 2nd vehicle because of a) umber, b) most likely better final price and c) lower miles. Even though its not CPO it's still under manufacture warranty for 50k miles/4yrs.
