Thank you very much for taking the time to do that.

I had no idea it was such a dramatic display! :-)

Wow that's pretty cool. Does it help in heavy snow? Makes the car look even more robotic.

We haven't had a heavy snow fall yet. I'm sure it's coming so I'll keep you posted...

Standard on the SH-AWD models. I don't think it's an option for the base models.

Yeah it looks like a transformer, like something is about to come out of it, next oil slicks are going to come from the rear reflector. I really think acura could have made it less noticeable and more flush with the bumper with that being said I thikn they should ahve made it standard on all AWD models.

Works awsome in the snow. I have used them lots here in Nova Scotia. I make sure they are free of ice though and I don't want to test their ability to punch through it. You go through washer fluid a lil more quickly. Some oncoming drivers and drivers ahead of you get startled by them as it causes the HID light output to do a litte dance at night. Only available on TL SH-AWD and MDX here in Canada but I agree the US snow belt could use them as well. They activate automaticaly with your windshield washers if your headlights are on and its the first clean after startup otherwise there is a button beside the VSA button to activate them manualy. It always does a double wash when activated.

I love this! Can we get it for the U.S.A. model?

Maybe someone who lives near the border can drive across and order the parts from a Canadian dealer and retrofit his car in the US?

Seems like a marketing gimmick to me. I aint never had this on any car I owned and never had a problem driving in even the worst snowstorm.

I just got my 09 SH-AWD today... took over a lease (Canadian model)...

I can't seem to get them to work... The mechanism is there and I've tried the button in the dash... Doesn't work... Also tried washing the windshield (with headlights on) and no go...

The front bumper was recently painted (last week) before we transferred the lease... Is it possible that they simply forgot to plug it back in ? I'm guessing the warranty won't cover it since it was taken to a bodyshop...

It's a conversation topic feature that I'd like to have... don't really need it, but would be cool...

Thanks!

We pay $8K more for the washers. I personally don't think it's worth it.
