Canadian 4G TL-GLM

Hello all! I'm picking up my 2013 Tech SH-AWD GLM TL (AT) in a few weeks (pictures to follow). My previous car was a 2012 GLM TSX (premium package, no tech) that's due for its lease return. The TL will have tint/rear mudflaps installed and i'll be adding weathertechs once I pick it up.

Before the TSX I drove a 2010 WRX which I loved for its utility, handling and power. This time around I was considering an STI, C300 4matic, and an A4. I had a chance to drive the STI, C300 4matic, A3, A4, Legacy, both MT and AT TLs before deciding on the AT TL. So if anyone is comparing between the aforementioned vehicles and is looking for some opinions, feel free to ask!

Looking forward to being a part of this amazing community!

Cheers,
Aro88

Aro maybe you can help me out with this, I was under the impression that 12' AWD/ADV TL's came in this color combination white/umber, but I can't seem to find any in The States like that. Was that a Canada only thing?

It looks like it is. If you try the build/price option on Acura.ca you can choose white/umber. On Acura.com it looks like it's only white/ebony and white/greystone.

If you plan to get the body kit like most of us did you won't need the mudflaps unless u getting then free from the dealer

Welcome! As another Canadian TL Owner I can tell you that SH-AWD is awesome in the winter. Additionally the WeatherTech's are awesome! They catch all the snow/slush very well.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was debating a kit for the longest time but eventually decided not to install one, which was why i chose the rear mudflaps.

That's exactly what I'm looking forward to. After having driven the WRX, I missed not having awd on the tsx. The TL was a logical and natural upgrade for me.

Pictures!

Finally picked up the TL. Love it!

Driver side weathertech

Passenger side weathertech - not a very good fit on the inside footwell wall, but i think it may conform over time

Rear passenger weathertech

Closer shot (really good fit)

Yup those are the weathertechs. I have the same ones. Love it. All winter never cleaned my interior and the carpets are in gret shape. The only issue I find is the stock connectors don't do anything on these. Otherwise well worth the money I paid. Bought them from a shop in buffalo and drove there.

Congrats on your 13' GLM TL! That color has really grown on me, probably a little easier took keep clean.
You can't beat the weathertech floor liners - good choice.

Thanks! I haven't seen many GLMs in the GTA. Love the uniqueness.

+1. Love these mats. The stock connectors become pretty pointless with these. I just thrown on the weather techs on top of the stock carpet mats.

Agreed. That was exactly why I bought the GLM. I've had black and white cars and am just too lazy to keep them spotless clean.

Nice to see another weathertech fan. I had them too all winter up here in the true north and frozen. Lifted them up now that the snow is gone and there is no sign of any salt or dirt under them at all.
