This is a great design! I used to have a 3G TL and to get at the filter you had to remove the glove box door, then you had to unscrew some kind of panel then pop it out, I forget exactly but it was very annoying. I guess Acura heard all the complaints and made it simpler on the 4G. I just checked my filter and it is filthy! Will definitely pick up a new one soon.

^ I have a 3G and did the cutout modification so it's as simple as the 4G now. You'll want to replace the filter every 12-18 months- just did mine yesterday and it was dirty after 19 months.

Great post - thanks for doing so. Looks much easier than on my wife's 09 Ody where the glove box hinges have to be removed. Will be doing this one soon!

Walmart... or any auto parts store for about $20? I think.
They either have a book or a computer you can use to match the item# to your car.

It's so easy.... its no wonder why they are called stealership for charging upwards to $100.

Replacing this filter is unbelievably easy! I went with the FRAM Fresh Breeze for $20. Part # CF10134.
