I've been quoted $35,000 OTD for a 2012 TL tech package with 5,003 miles. Good deal? This is in NC.

Invoice on that car is 38,059, there is $2k dealer cash right now and if you own a competitior car you can get another $1500 off.
You should be able to get a brand new one for maybe a little more that the used one, and you get full lemon law protection, a car that has not depreciated a year and the peace of mind of being the original owner.

Price seems a little high to me -- but not by much. To be fair, we need the actual numbers from the buyers order. Selling price, tax, title/registration, and any additional dealer charges being added. My rough guess is the car is priced at $32,500 before the above mentioned fees.
Agree with Keith though -- if you can get all the dealer cash being offered you can brand new for just a little more.

Sorry for being vague. Don't know the actual break down as my husband is the one doing the negotiation actually. But it's all the fees, tags, taxes, acura care, gap, and something else I forgot.

Buy a new one and skip Acura care maybe. I say come up with then difference and get a new one. Join a credit union and use their car buying service and if you don't qualify for then loyalty or conquest $1500 then get loan via a credit union, Pen Fed has great interest rates.

Welcome to the forum! As others have said I would spend just a little more and get a brand-new one. If you can wait a few months longer the prices should drop some more on leftovers as the new model year comes out.

So we (husband) ended up getting it down to $31,000 flat with everything I stated before. Plus we traded in an old chevy equinox (my old mom car) and they gave us $3000 more than we wanted. Thats the lowest we got offered and we've gone to about 12 Acura dealerships up and down NC. So i'm satisfied. This is my Mother's Day present and our first "luxury" vehicle. I really like it

I went to Leith Acura Caryand was not impressed at all. IDK if its because I look young or whatever but I was treated like I was wasting their time. Too bad because I went to Performance Acura in Chapel Hill and got what I wanted.
