Hi, new member here.

On 7/25 I purchased a TL w/SHAWD and Tech. I paid $39300 plus tax including all weather floor and trunk mats, wheels locks and splash guards. I’ve read of better deals but it was the only Palladium Metallic with Ebony interior on the lot which is exactly what I wanted. Still, I feel I did OK.

Here’s my question- I do want an extended warranty but the dealer was only offering a 3rd party warranty at a cost of $1700 for 6 years/72K miles (highway robbery). I’ve read on this forum about curryacuracare.com and can get a 7yr/100K warranty for $1190 from them. For those of you who have purchased the Acura Care warranty from them, how was the experience? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hard to imagine that your dealer wouldn't offer the Acura Care. Mine did, and by the end, had even offered a price that, if I'd researched it in advance, I probably would have taken.

Since I am in California, the warranty choices are slimmer. MyHondaWarranty states that with a shipping address in another state, they'll sell me a warranty. Is there any risk of this waranty not being valid if I do this? Does it have to match the registration or the place of purchase? They are offering a 84m/100k/0Deduct for $1020.
