Blind Spot Sensor Location?

Forgive me if this answer is elsewhere on these forums. I searched and couldn't find it. Where are the actual sensors for the blind spot indicators? I'm assuming some kind of radar gun sensor is pointing somewhere, but not sure where. My best guess is it goes through the glass on the side view mirrors? They're well disguised.

I should be satisfied that they just plain work, but that's never enough for me. I was showing them to some friends at work today and we wondered this question. I told them it would be on Acurazine somewhere, and they said Acura what? ha ha.

I believe they are located in the rear quarter panels.

Thanks! That's it though...I think I'm finally going to get those thick books out this weekend and actually read them. I halfway wondered about the manual after I posted this, if it was in there, and am now cringing with embarrassment.

I actually joined "My Acura" and downloaded the manual. It is a lot easier to search a PDF than thumb through a book that is normally in the car.

I wondered that as well. i have the Acura Aero kit underspoilers on my car and they do not interfere with the BSI's.

Good to know. I've wondered about this, too--and asked my dealer, who say they didn't even know.

Radar waves can go through plastics. Unless the underspoilers are made of metal, otherwise won't affect the BSI operation whatsoever.

I looked under the bumper but cannot see them. Anyone have a real pic of location and what they look like?
