Blackstone Lab test off my 2012 TL factory fill

I think it was a good thing I drained it early and put some M1 in it. This proves it.

Very interesting, my co worker who has a new dodge challenger changed his oil at exactly 1,000 miles. He read on some dodge sites that its best to do this due to all the crap that is in the engine during the break in period. I argued with him that it is best to change the oil at 3000 but i guess I was wrong.

Wow that is very interesting. Good to know. I have always changed the oil in all my vehicles at 1,000 miles and then every 5,000 miles thereafter. So far it's worked for me.

Interesting to contrast this with the other thread on following the MID for the first oil change. I have never been one to follow the MID. Looks like I will be changing the oil this weekend and engineering the Fumoto.
