Bike rack
Just my opinion, but I'd install a hitch receiver on the car, and not mount ANY rack on the car (trunk, or roof), due to denting and scratching. Then, I'd buy a hitch-mounted bike rack for the hitch receiver. Here's mine:

The rack comes with 2 sets of mounts, so you can mount 2 bikes on it.

OOOO I have racks on the Fit, but after seeing a hitch mounted rack it doesn't look half bad. My co-worker has the trunk mounted ones, but I just don't like it and he never takes it off his car. He has backed right into the concrete in our parking structure.

I use a hitch mount on my wife's Accord (which we also use to haul the dirt bike trailer).
The hitch mount bike racks work beatifully. Easy on/off and the bikes don't bang up your car.
Don't know about our TLs, but the Accord has pre-drilled mounting holes - you just pop out the plugs. Just pick up a high quality hitch and a big breaker bar to get the large diameter bolts/nuts good and tight. I believe we paid about $200 for our hitch, and I had the guy at the trailer shop install it (also needed the car wired for the trailer).
