AZN, please don't do it. If it ain't a Type S, it doesn't need a badge...

if ur gonna do that, it wont be much different than the ricer that sticks "Type R" badges all over his base model civic/teggy/accord/etc.
my vote is also, dont do it!
if i ever have nice stickers i dont wanna stick on my car, i stick em on my computer case, or my guitar case instead. that way i still get to see the nice stickerl, put it to use... and i wont draw negative attn to my car

Advanced
I know this is probably going to get a lot of heat from the 3g guys and previous type s owners but isn't the new sh-awd trying to take the place of the old type s model. It has a larger displacement engine and upgraded performance from the base model. Ya it lacks some goodies, brembo brakes being one that sticks out in my mind. I guess what im trying to say is acura could have badged the sh-awd as the type s and everyone would have accepted it but instead they came up with a lame alternative. I took if off because i figure that if someone can't recognize it is the sh-awd just from looking at they dont know enough about cars to appreciate it anyway. Maybe you could get a badge that say like a type s and impress the highschool kids.

Recognize it? It's a TL not a Ferrari; the only normal cars I believe deserve that kind of recognition/admiration your implying have M, AMG, RS or V badges. Besides its a lot more fun having people be unable to recognize your car. I've had so many funny moments in my car because it's unrecognizable. Today two scrubby looking white guys (undercover cops), signal me to put my windows down, I put'em down and the first thing one says is, "waddup my nigga?"(i'm Hispanic by the way). I bursted into laughter and answered their questions about the car. They were unsure if it was "the new type-s" and whether they all got that exhaust note.

AZN, I think it's a majority here. Putting a Type S badge on a 4G TL is just not the right thing to do.

Badges are tacky enough to begin with. People who re-badge a car as something it is not loose respect from the people that they desperately wanted in the first place.
