Hello everyone, I am a new here..so I picked up 12 TL with 35k on it and after driving it for about 3 weeks really starting noticing how different it shifts. Took it to my local dealer and it turns out they will be replacing the torque converter. They also informed me that it is on backorder. Has any one else gone through this and about how long was it backordered for? Any help would be great. Other than this issue I really enjoy the TL...

ive never heard membrs with torque converter issues reported that they have had back ordered issues. Is that the only dealer in your radius in which you live? can you find another dealer?

well, unless we work for acura, i dont think any one can tell you how long it would be back ordered for.

you have the best bet with your dealer to tell you when it will be on order.

 

I was told that mine was on back order when I had to have mine replaced. It was only a 2 day wait.
