Automate AM6.2 remote start dashboard goes crazy
Hi all,
I have a 2012 TL tech, I had installed a remote start by (Viper) Directed Electronics, The car dealer version. 7 out of 10 starts my dashboard lights go nuts for about 10 seconds and I get a message that the vehicle may not start bring it into the dealer. I know this is due to the remote start as I never have this issue until I use the remote start. I was told there is a software upgrade to the start module to correct this issue, yet when I called Directed they have no clue what I am talking about. The only way to clear the message is going into the computer backdoor. Has anyone had or have this issue? Thanks, Dennis
