Way to be a jerk about it and say you're going to wait around for the chinese copy of RonJon's front grille. Regardless of if it's true, that was a slap in the face to an american company that pays workers to design and engineer a product that might be more expensive, but benefits the jobs that our economy is hurting for right now.

I hope whatever your job is, it gets outsourced to China as well, then we'll say "yeah man, but we just wanted to get it cheaper!" to you.

This is why we probably won't get a front lip from him either.

Suck it up, if you don't want to pay for it, remember you're buying an aftermarket piece for a $40,000 Acura, not a $5,000 Civic.

I didnt say I was going to wait for a replica of a RJ grill, but I may wait for a chinese
aftermarket grill. Why would they make a replica of RJ anyways? They along with most
other people in the world probably have not even heard of RJ. Also, just because something is made in China it doesnt mean it has to be a copy.

By the way, if you were thinking about the American economy so much, why didnt
you get a Ford or GM car? These are companies that have to pay thousands of employees.

LOL!!!

Perfect response.

I can't stand the self-righteous BS. If you build crap, don't expect me to subsidize it just because "it's American crap."

Since when was Ohio in a foreign country? One of the major reasons the country is going to waste nearly $100 billion bailing out auto companies is that many ignoramuses in the US believe that only Chrysler, GM and Ford have been building "American" cars.

To be fair, while the TL is, indeed, built in America, all the profits (if there are any in this horrid economy...lol) go straight back to Japan. I still say that if anyone wants my money they better earn it by building a better product at a better price point.

No way, no how will I buy crap just because it has "made in America" stamped on it.

That may be true, but the TL is designed in California and built in Ohio, so it creates American jobs, just like the so-called American manufacturers. On the other hand, the profits made by Chrysler, GM and Ford go to...wait, they haven't had any profits in years.

So to get back on topic..

American grilles are between $30 and at max $200 retail.
JDM grilles are around $250 and Mugen grilles are at max $400.
I could understand the RJ grill being around $400, but $650 is way off.

Um... If im not mistaken, from pre-production speculations, this grille will most likely be around $600 or so

why not market to some Acura Dealers...I am sure they would buy in bulk to help lower production costs.
