Hey everyone I’m from Vancouver Canada and need some help. My 2012 TL has 109k and I’m looking to change my transmission fluid via drain and fill. Also change the Transmission filter. I found a mechanic who will do it but I just need to provide the parts.

Ive tried looking for the fluid that says in the book but I can’t find it anywhere. Can someone suggest where I can buy a good alternative that is safe for Acura ?

Someone told me canadain tire but I can’t find any on the website.

Also so how much Liters do I need to buy?

Also looking for the transmission filter.

If SH-AWD model, you need 4 quarts of Honda DW-1 fluid and the filter part number is 25430-PLR-003.

I found someone selling 4 L for $50 locally. But do you know where I can buy this from the store? Is it only the dealerships that sell it ?

honda dealers well honda DW-1 Auto trans fluid for less than acura. If you buy 12 bottles they give you a discount because it comes in a case.

For the filter i found the same filter part number 25430-PLR-003 at Walmart but they are random brands. Would theses be okay ?

A non-Honda/Acura filter is available. I've used this brand filter before without problems.
I've used this particular filter on a Accord, TSX, and my TL.
