Just wanted to see what it looks like on some cars, maybe some lowered cars with a bike rack. Also how the mileage with the rack? Need one for my bike and snowboard in the winter since seats don't fold down.

Yakima q system here. Very satisfied with it. Drove from nj to Vermont with 2 bikes. Mileage maybe 1 gal less. No noise when moonroof is shut.

I also have a Yakima Rack with Q towers & fairing. Mileage is a little worse 1-2mpg with skis & a board or 2 or 3. The fairing whistles quite a bit on mine (didn't as much on my 3G TL or 1st gen CR-V, had the rack on all the cars). Closing the windows & moonroof along with its cover reduces the noise. Picture in the second link posted (post #28).

Rockin it ol' school on the '06. Bought used from C'list and had to add the right clips and a fairing. Otherwise does the trick.

I keep it on and only lose 1-2 mpg. Don't care.
