Anyone find a 4G sunshade yet ?

hope the 4G dash won't have the fade issue the 3G had. Has anyone found a good sunshade for the car yet? I want to protect the dash and of course help keep the temp down w/ my ebony interior
(at least my 4 is BBP instead of my 3G's NBP (the 3's dash if not protected was like an oven - soaking up the heat)
just thinking ahead b4 the Texas summer gets here soon (we only have 2 seasons here Summer and Winter - maybe only 2 weeks each for - what do you call them? spring / fall? (spring is thunderstorm/tornado/hail season here)

Hmm, I still have the one from my 3G Type-S, I haven't tried it yet but looks like it will fit, it is one of those fan fold silver refective kind that I got for like $6 at Walmart a few years back.

Actually I just tried mine from my 3G, it was an extra long and is 28 inches tall and is too tall for the 4G, it will fit if you cram it in there, but it really looks liek a sun shade that folds and is only 24 inches tall will fit much better. Look sliek the GF gets mine for her new CRV which it fits perfectly and I am off to find a 24 inch one. I also hope Acura learned from the 3G dash and we don't see the blotchy issue in the 4G

OK the one I used int he 3G which was one of the silver foil covered folding rectangles that was 27 inches tall (JUMBO) was too tall, but Walmart had one that is 24 inches tall (STANDARD) and perfect size works great for like $5

I highly recommend this custom-fit shade when it becomes available for the 2009 TL:

Nice, looks sweet, but at $50 I may stay with the $5 Walmart one.

I have gotten this exact sunshade for my past two cars from "Autosport" catalog. I checked two days ago and they didn't have them yet for the 2009 TL. They are really nice. I am planning on waiting until they start making them to get a sunshade. They generally run around $50...

PS. Called "Autosport" today. They couldn't give me an ETA but I got on a call list for when it becomes available. My guess is that it will become available faster if there is a lot of interest...

I'll have to try the old one I used in the 3G. the kind that is actually 2 shades that fold into small circles - what I liked about them was: 1: they were not the foil type - (don't like the way the foil seems to hold heat - like Al foil on a stove) 2: when not in use they fold into a much smaller form factor. DLeeWebb the autosport one looks good and it says insulated. have to call em like u said - maybe I could be a test car for em - you know just to get the fit right.
