Can you post what LEDs a 2010 Acura TL AWD would need for License plate, Interior, and trunk? Thanks!

Hey Anthony,
First off, welcome to AZ.
Secondly, I think the 4G TL has LEDs for the interior. The cabin light and the dome/map are both LEDs, and frankly, I have not seen any information about those bulb sizes as of yet. For the visor, you will need something like these:

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...14848-1-2.html

They come in Blue, Red and white.

For the step/courtesy, and license plate, you will need T10 that replaces 168 and 158. Something like:

http://www.v-leds.com/194-168-158-LE...orLanding/true

or:

http://www.v-leds.com/194-168-158-LE...orLanding/true

or:

http://www.v-leds.com/194-168-158-LE...orLanding/true

And for the trunk, you will need 3022 festoon:

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...19299-1-2.html

or

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...54410-1-2.html

I have a little doubt that the 3 LED festoon might not fit in the trunk of Acura because of the space limitation. I ordered a pair for my Sister's 2010 Sentra that uses that in the dome. Though her car only requires one in the dome but you can only buy them in pairs from V-LEDs. So I will use one in her car and the other one in my car. If it fits, wonderful, if it doesnt, then I will order these:

Also, to get the sizes of your car lights, the best place to check is:

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htm

Hope this helps. Thanks.

Acura Troop >> well... you can do one of the three things....

1. Go LED, but doing so will through the "DRL" indicator on your dashboard. So you might have to buy the whole kit with the resistor and what not to save you from the "DRL" warning. Problem with that is that your DRL is your high beam too. LEDs are not great for high beam. Their light pattern is not as focused as of the regular bulb. You may either get very scattered light pattern or very focused beam pointing at one particular direction, like a flashlight. I personally will not put the LED in my DRL, at least not yet.

2. Go for one of those blue "xenon" bulbs with K rating of 8000 K or above. They will give you bluish white look to your DRL.

3. Pull the fuse for the DRL (fuse number 15) from under fuse box and turn them off altogether. That is what I did. Unless you live in a state or Canada, where it is required by law to keep your DRL's on. In that case dont do it.

I have replaced my High beams/DRLs with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra. They are much better than the regular halogens when receiving max current, but with DRL current, they are exactly same as the regular halogens.

Hope this helps. Thanks.

Just received the bulbs for my Acura and for my Sis's Sentra. So far very impressed with them. I have replaced my Acura's license plate and the puddle/courtesy marker and they look sweet. Unfortunately, I couldnt change the trunk bulb. I thought they come in pair but they dont. So I used that one in my Sis's car and will be ordering one soon for the trunk. I will take the pictures of my Acura soon and will post them here. I personally think that V-LEDs are better than SuperBrightLEDs. I bought a whole bunch of them from SBLED for my previous TL and a couple of them had a bit "yellow" color to them. Dont know why. I switched them around in different sockets but still didnt have much luck. The V-LED ones are perfect, in terms of color and output. The only problem is that I got one that flickers a bit. I emailed V-LED this evening. Lets see what they say.
