Another 3G'er moving up!
Finally did it on Monday. Traded in my 2004 TL 6MT black/black with Nav for a 2012 SH-AWD with Nav black/black. The 04 had 143,786 virtually trouble free miles on it. They gave me $6k on the trade, which I was very impressed with, and got the 2012 for 34k.
Only had it for about 170 miles but i'm absolutely in love with the SH-AWD. I do say that I miss the MT, but i think i'll live. I will agree with other posters that the seats are not as comfortable as the 3G yet, but may need to be broken in. Very happy with the decision and seems like a decent price from what i've seen around. Looking forward to reading the 4G forum now!

oh dang thats not a bad price! yeah my stick shift days are over. daily commuting in automatic and 275 lb/tq with sport mode available is good enough for me. did you got tech pkg too?

Thanks everyone, I'm still trying to sort everything out and figure out all the little ins and outs of the car--it's one of my favorite things to do and this car has a lot of things to personalize.

Congrats. That car is sweet. Black is the way to go...best color for the 4G TL IMO. Although I told myself I didn't want another black car for my next car, I now have one sitting in the garage.

I totally agree the black is definitely the way to go even though I said the exact same thing. Not brand new, came off lease with 14k on the clock. Had I not known that getting in it and seeing it I could never tell the difference. It was just as clean as the brand new one I test drove.

I was checking out that exact same car in a Costco parking lot last December on a Saturday and by Tuesday I bought one. I didn't get the AWD but do have the 18" wheels that I'm putting on any day now.

Just realized you're from mass. I'll be attending majority of the main Mass-Tuning meets if you ever get a chance to go. I need a acurazine/4g friend.. Feel like an suv and an outcast next to all those slammed/race cars!
