With your AC on, can you check if center tunnel by your cup holder between passenger seat gets cold as well? Mine gets ice cold. Thanks!

Yes, the rear AC vents are mounted behind the center console so it has to flow cold air around the cup holder to get there.

Thanks guys! It seems like it's colder than the air coming out of the front vents but I guess that's a different issue lol.

that would be a good thing in my opinion considering electronics are better suited in a colder enviornment vs overheated conditions ...maybe?

It gets cold when using A/C in the summer, and gets warm when using heat in the winter.

Have you tried opening vs closing the rear vent? I'd think it'd be colder if the vent is closed. Try opening it to let the cold air pass?

Opening the rear vents will help but there is no getting around the fact the ducting runs right through the center console. So the cup holders and center armrest storage are going to be subjected to the air temperature running through the duct work.

If you close the rear vents you will prevent the air flow to the back and it would actually reduce how cold the console feels.
