About to pull the trigger on this 4G TL, thoughts?

So Im looking for a '09 or '10 TL with Tech package with less than 30k miles for between $23k-26k. I found several in my price range but I happen to stumble across a few that were "CPO's". I vaguely understand the concept so maybe you guys can help answer my questions.....

First question: I managed to get one Acura dealer down to 26700 out the door on a 09 TL with tech package with 15k miles (one owner, clean carfax). It is CPO. Think this is a good deal? Should I shop around and find a better one? Im ok with the price but I do not want to feel like Im overpaying....

Second question: Does CPO mean that I will get the 7 year/100,000 mile extended warranty? Does this warranty require a deductible? Is it pretty comprehensive, meaning, does it cover most of the powertrain, suspension, electrical, etc, or is it a joke? I understand NO warranty will cover wear and tear items, I get that.

I'm familiar with the TL line. I had a 05 WDP TL with Navi so Im looking forward to getting back into a Acura.

CPO all the way. The CPO extends the warranty for 12000 miles above the original (to 62k) or to 12 months above the original warranty from the day it was originally put into service.

The warranty covers the same things as the original factory warranty. I will never buy anything other than CPO in the future.

There is no deductible and the warranty is pretty comprehensive. You can click here to see more info.

You need to look at the date of delivery for that 2009. You'll probably need to focus more on when the 5 years expires as opposed to when you'll reach 62k miles.

IMO, CPO is definitely the way to go! I bought a CPO 2010 with less than 9k miles, so I essentially have a longer warranty than if I'd bought it brand new (since I know I'll reach the miles limit before the expiration date).

Good luck!

OK, so I am a bit confused. The warranty booklet is not exactly clear to me. Maybe I am having a "slow" moment.

So what does the 7yr/100,000 mile extend? And is it 7 years from when I buy the car used, or 7 years from the car's original date of assembly/sale?

And I will ask the dealer to elaborate as well on this warranty but we all know that some dealers have the capability to lie so I'd rather ask perfect strangers (no offense, lol) that have a common knowledge and experience with the car as well.

Perfect example of dealers lying: I went to go test drive a 09 TL yesterday just to get a feel for driving the car and the salesman mentioned to me that the TL is rated at 22 city/30 highway. Even I knew that was a lie. Either he was mis-informed (which I dont know how that is possible with the invention of the internet) or wanted to attempt to impress me since he knew I currently drive a hybrid.

I think this explains what I was asking....

http://www.acura.com/content/pdf/907...AL_5.25.11.pdf

The powertrain warranty is extended up to 7/100,000
The non-powertrain warranty is extended up to 5/62,000

The additional benefits (only for 12 months, 12,000) which consists of:
Emergency Towing
Flat tire
Lock-out
rental car, etc

Am I correct?
